NY Daily News’ story on the NYSERDA report just out - written by academics from various local and regional universities - that, once again, finds that transportation infrastructure, especially subways, very vulnerable to storm events and sea level rise. What I find quite amazing are the comments immediately after - from climate-skeptics with a cussing problem.

Marilyn Monroe may not be able to recreate her famous image atop a subway ventilation grate, with skirt flying. Well, for one she is dead and for another, those grates become large scale water ingress points into the subway system at times of major storm events. Now becomign more and more frequent due to climate change and global warming.
